Sewing Class

Long have I lamented there was nothing to do in this small upstate New York town. Then a few months ago Project Anthologies opened. This shop tended to by the lovely Mel, is an explosion of color and beautiful  fabrics. I have always wanted to learn to sew and when Mel started having a variety of classes, I've been trying to make it to as many as I can. A few Thursdays ago we made some small pouches with interfacing and zippers, and I'd like to show it off.

The fabrics I chose to use.

Pinning my layers and sewing my zipper on!

Almost done! Just need to box my corners and flip this around!

Finished!

How many of you know how to sew or use a sewing machine?

  1. I am so jealous! I need to find something similar in Utah County.

    1. I would think your area would have lots of stuff going on! I've been spending the last few weekends, trying to perfect this craft lol. I've got about 3 or 4 of them now. They are sooo cheap to make, fabric interfacing and zipper is about 10 dollars. I love it!
